Event Details
We will meet at 1:30 for a brief lesson on SUNFLOWERS, the bees that pollinate them, and pumpkins for the fall season. We'll follow this lesson with a tractor ride across the farm - past the pumpkin, apple, grapes, sunflowers, and strawberry fields. We will take some photos among the sunflowers, and then pick out our own perfect pie pumpkin or sunflower to take home (each registered individual attending can take one; you're welcome to bring your own scissors or clipper for cutting, or we will have some on hand). We will follow this up with some fun in the kids-of-ALL-ages play area. The play farm is complete with a hay mountain, giant sand pile, corn stalk and hay bail tunnels, water boat racing, 2 slides for kids and adults of all ages, tire swings, fun chart games to play with a parent, pedal carts to ride (adults and kids alike), and more!
