The Kids Bash (KB) is the East Coast’s largest, annual kid’s fitness event, dedicated to prioritizing health and fitness amongst the youth in our communities.
Event Details
Each year, Flex 4 Change puts on the Kids Bash that is a one-day, action-packed event bringing together families from all of Virginia. This event allows them the opportunity to flex their physical fitness. Through exhilarating games and competitions, the youth learn about leadership, team building and problem-solving skills as a unit. We have everything from top food vendors to live performances, celebrities, contests, gift giveaways and so much more! Kids Bash had a total of 800 kids in attendance last year and estimated to have 1,000 kids at this year’s Kids Bash. This is an event where the entire family will leave ready to return next year and excited to promote health and fitness in their communities.
Each year, the Kids Bash offers unexpected surprises as our team, composed of some of the most brilliant minds in Hampton Roads, comes together to generate fresh ideas to keep the event exciting. We constantly strive to compete with the previous year, where we bring in the hottest local celebrities and music while incorporating fitness into the event. During the Kids Bash, each age group participates in challenges that enable them to work together as a team with a common goal.
The event incorporates age-appropriate games and activates to encourage and stimulate their respective fitness levels. The Toddler Bonanza is an area specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers. Located in the Toddler Bonanza will be bounce houses, carnival games, arts and craft stations, face painting and more. Our main event is the Color Wars Games, which is geared towards grade-schoolers, teens, and young adults and is a fun and exciting challenge for all who participate.
The Color Wars is an exciting, team-based event where teams compete to be named the Kids Bash Color Wars Champions for the year. All participants receive an annual Kids Bash t-shirt. Awards are presented to the winning team and the team MVP’s receive a custom gold plated Kids Bash Ribbon.
